Fellowships at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey
Educational activities at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey encompass a spectrum of formal training programs. At CINJ, students from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University work side by side with some of the nationís greatest researchers and clinicians in their laboratories and clinics.
CINJ is home to New Jerseyís only residency program in radiation oncology and it serves as a training ground for numerous hematology/oncology Fellows and surgical oncology breast Fellows each year. Funded by the National Cancer Institute, CINJ also hosts a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Translational Cancer Research program which provides candidates with the highest quality training and research experience. The program integrates the highest quality of basic science laboratory studies with a fundamental understanding of the unique requirements of clinical translation of the discoveries.
