Rutgers Cancer Prevention and Population Research


Overall Goal:

To engage in scientific discovery across the cancer control continuum (e.g., primary prevention to survivorship) to reduce cancer risk behaviors and improve cancer outcomes through individual, family, and system-level interventional and observational research.
 

Specific Aims: 

  • To understand determinants of cancer risk, treatment, and survival and quality of life outcomes through epidemiological investigations with an emphasis on minorities and underserved populations.
  • To determine risk factors and develop prevention programs focused on cancer.
