Research Interests

• Main research interest relates to targeted or site-specific delivery of cancer therapeutics. Specifically, our lab has developed a nanosphere-based delivery system for the intravenous and topical delivery of anticancer drugs. We have worked with Dr. Gounder on a paclitaxel- delivery system for the treatment of breast cancer. We are working currently with Dr. Kim on a neuro-protective agent to alleviate post surgical complications after prostectomies. We have an interest in collaborating with members of CINJ on the treatment of skin cancers, using topical delivery systems.
