Monica K. Young Foundation

The Monica K. Young Foundation was founded by the Young family in 2022 in memory of Monica K. Young after she lost a courageous four-year battle with ovarian cancer in 2021. Her family notes Monica was a devoted wife and incredible mother to four children -- deeply loved by family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Because she lived her life generously caring for others, her family set up the foundation in her name with a mission of raising ovarian cancer awareness, supporting individuals affected by the disease, and funding research initiatives to find a cure. The Foundation recently made a $50,000 donation to Rutgers Cancer Institute to create the Monica K. Young Foundation Fund to support and alleviate the burden of medical expenses on financially vulnerable ovarian cancer patients and families. With your support, her legacy will live on as we positively impact the lives of others affected by this disease.
