Membership Type: Full

Research Interests

  • Developing novel, minimally invasive optical technology to track signaling pathways and analyze function of genes w/i living cells (quantifying in tumorigenic cells, structural alterations resulting from abnormal expression of pro- or anti-apoptotic proteins/abnormal mechanisms of cell death)
  • Characterizing the relationship between physical and morphological phenotypes and patterns of gene expression during early cancer development
