Physician Profile

Firas Eladoumikdachi, MD, FACS
Program Director, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey at Hamilton
Breast Surgical Oncologist

Since completing my breast surgical oncology fellowship at the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center at Northwestern University in Chicago, I directed a multidisciplinary team to form a patient-centered quality-oriented community breast center for several years. I am very excited now to join the team at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey both at New Brunswick and Hamilton locations. Breast cancer treatments are becoming more and more individualized and I believe the patient is at the center of all the different treatment modalities and support services.

My interests also lie in clinical research and teaching, which is another reason I joined Rutgers University. I have published several articles in peer-reviewed journals over the past few years and am looking forward to continue and grow this experience at the Division of Surgical Oncology at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

I am a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Disease.
