I am passionate about delivering patient centered care and individualizing my approach to each patient. I embrace working at an academic institution, where patients are treated by a care team ranging from medical oncologists, specialty IBD gastroenterologists, radiation specialists and many more. This team based approach ensures that patients are cared for from diagnosis to cure and all stages in between.
I am a double board certified General and Colon & Rectal Surgeon and treat patients with colon and rectal cancers, IBD (crohns, ulcerative colitis), rectal prolapse and pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as benign conditions such as hemorrhoids, anal fistula and fissures, and numerous other conditions. I perform minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery as well as transanal minimally invasive surgery and advanced endoscopy.
