Cancer Survivorship and Outcomes Center Studies

  • NJSCR Survivor Cohort Survey
    • This study, done in collaboration with The New Jersey State Cancer Registry (NJSCR) is called “Cancer Treatment and Survivorship Experiences Among New Jersey Residents.” This study aims to survey cancer survivors in the catchment area of New Jersey to better understand their unique needs and potential issues with survivorship. We hope to capture the experience of 600 survivors of urinary bladder, female breast (including DCIS), female gynecological, colorectal, lung, melanoma, prostate, and thyroid cancer in New Jersey.

  • Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Survivor-facing Survey
    • This study, conducted specifically with patients seen at Rutgers Cancer Institute, is called “Evaluating the Post-Treatment Care Experience of Cancer Survivors.” This study aims to assess survivorship care by reviewing care coordination, financial toxicity, employment, support needs, quality of life, social support, depression and anxiety, cancer distress, general health habits, sun protection, and comorbidities. We hope to capture 700 survivors of all cancers who were seen at Rutgers Cancer Institute between 2018-2019.
