Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research

Ludwig LogoBased at Princeton University, the Ludwig Princeton Branch is wholly dedicated to the study of cancer metabolism. Combined with Ludwig’s leadership in cancer epigenetics and immunotherapy, advances in cancer metabolism generated at the Ludwig Princeton Branch inform new strategies for cancer prevention and treatment. The clinical translation of Branch discoveries are conducted in the tri-state area, including in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute, the state’s only U.S. National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

 

Rutgers University Cancer Institute of New Jersey hosted the 1st Ludwig Scientific Group meeting on January 30th, 2023.  Dr. Eileen White, Deputy Director of the Cancer Institute is the Associate Director of the Ludwig Princeton Branch at Princeton University.
 
The meeting was well attended by faculty members from Rutgers University, Princeton University, and the University of Pennsylvania.  Presentations of research in progress were made by Roddy O’Connor (Roddy O’Connor Lab); Vincent Zheng (Jay Groves Lab); Asael Roichman (Josh Rabinowitz Lab); and Xue Yang (Wenwei Hu Lab).
