Cancer Health Equity Center of Excellence 2025 Annual Research Symposium

April 22, 2025 | NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY

Join us for a dynamic gathering of scientists, health professionals, community partners, and community members, all coming together to advance cancer disparities research. This event will feature engaging sessions highlighting key areas in basic, translational, population, and clinical cancer disparities science—showcasing important work from the Rutgers Cancer Institute and leading institutions across New Jersey.

We’re honored to welcome two keynote speakers: Dr. Timothy Rebbeck, a nationally recognized leader in cancer disparities research, and national patient advocate Beverly Canin, who will share a powerful keynote highlighting the patient experience and the critical importance of community engagement in research. The event will also feature a Community Voices Panel with members of the Rutgers Community Cancer Action Board (CCAB), offering additional insights from the communities we serve.

The day will include a continental breakfast, lunch, and interactive raffles, creating space for connection, learning, and shared purpose in advancing cancer disparities research.

Registration is closed. Please contact cancerhealthequity@cinj.rutgers.edu to be added to the waitlist.
