Contents of the Initial Patient Visit Treatment Packet

This packet is for patients who will be starting, or have already started, cancer treatment.  This includes treatment such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy. 

Chemotherapy and You: Support for People With Cancer - Chemotherapy and You is a booklet for people who are undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Immunotherapy - Frankly Speaking About Cancer® is the Cancer Support Community’s landmark cancer education series that provides trusted information on a variety of topics important to people affected by cancer.

Understanding Immunotherapy Side Effects - Immune checkpoint inhibitors (a type of immunotherapy) offer a promising new way to treat cancer for some patients.  This document provides information on the possible side effects with this type of treatment.

Cancer Hope Network - Cancer Hope Network uses cancer survivors and caregivers as Support Volunteers.  Through this site, a patient or caregiver can be matched with a volunteer who can lend a listening ear and be a supportive presence.
