RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute offers exciting opportunities
to join our comprehensive academic health care system!

We seek applications from academically oriented physicians and basic science investigators to join the state’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and largest health care delivery system in the state.  Opportunities exist for physicians with primary interests in growing a busy clinical practice supported by a strong referral pattern throughout the state, and clinical investigators and basic science researchers with interests in joining our highly collaborative and nationally recognized cancer research programs.  Scholars with interests in Phase I trial development and Precision Medicine are also encouraged to apply! Unique opportunities exist for collaborations between clinical and research programs, clinical trials research, cancer chemoprevention, clinical and basic pharmacology, Phase I clinical trials, and participation in a broad range of teaching initiatives. We offer highly competitive clinical compensation packages with incentives and exciting research packages including access to a host of Shared Resources for qualified candidates. As New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, Rutgers Cancer Institute together with RWJBarnabas Health, offers the most advanced cancer treatment options including clinical trials, precision medicine, bone marrow transplantation, proton therapy, CAR T-cell therapy, sophisticated radiation therapy techniques, and complex surgical procedures.
