About Me

As an associate professor of pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, specializing in pediatric hematology-oncology, I focus on developmental therapeutics, neuro-oncology, and solid tumor malignancies.

After medical education at Ross University, residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, and a pediatric fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center, I’ve spent over two decades treating children with cancer and blood disorders. I am passionate about translational medicine—bridging lab discoveries with bedside care. I have had the privilege to design and lead numerous early-phase clinical trials, delivering cutting-edge treatments to our young patients.

My research journey began in Dr. Timothy Cripe’s lab during my pediatric hematology/oncology training at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center, where I explored oncolytic viruses targeting cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue. This work solidified my commitment to developing therapies that are both effective and less toxic. While at CT Children's, I led the Advanced Therapeutics Program, launching early-phase clinical trials and spearheading molecular tumor-targeting therapies in collaboration with Jackson Laboratories. I look forward to advancing targeted therapies and immunotherapies, especially for children with central nervous system tumors, solid tumors, and resistant cancers.

I am excited to contribute my experience and passion to the care of children and young adults in our community.
