I was originally born and raised in China before immigrating to the U.S at the age of 18. I received my B.S. with highest honors in neuroscience and behavioral biology from Emory University, and M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. I completed my general surgery residency at the MedStar Health Baltimore program, and colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
My philosophy of care is to provide excellent care and treat every patient as if they are family and friends.
