I am an Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in genitourinary surgical oncology, where I care for patients with prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular, and other urologic cancers. In our practice, Advanced Practice Providers and physicians work closely together as a collaborative team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care throughout each patient’s cancer journey. I am committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and supporting patients from diagnosis and treatment through recovery and long-term surveillance.
I have spent much of my nursing career dedicated to oncology care, with the privilege of caring for patients across many aspects of the cancer continuum. Before joining the GU Surgical Oncology team as an Advanced Practice Nurse, I spent many years at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey in both clinical and nursing leadership roles. These experiences have shaped my approach to patient care and reinforced the importance of communication, education, and continuity of care for patients and their families.
In my current role, I have a particular interest in helping patients navigate the complexities of urologic cancer care. I believe patients should have a clear understanding of their diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up plan and feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in decisions about their care. I strive to ensure that patients and their families feel informed, supported, and confident as they move through each stage of their cancer journey.
It is an honor and privilege to care for patients during such an important and often challenging time in their lives. My goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported while providing compassionate, high-quality care tailored to their individual needs, concerns, and goals.
