At present there is no standard antiviral therapy approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of people with COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Telemedicine or telehealth refers to the practice of caring for patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other. Modern technology now allows doctors to seamlessly meet with patients by using stable, secure, and interactive video-conferencing platforms.
Bo (Bonnie) Qin, PhD, earned her doctoral degree in nutrition epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. She joined Rutgers Cancer Institute as a postdoctoral appointee and was then appointed Instructor of Medicine.
