Dr. Kohler’s interdisciplinary research is focused on developing and implementing interventions to address social, behavioral, and structural determinants of cancer disparities. Currently, her work evaluates interventions to improve human papillomavirus (HPV)-related cancer control in racial/ethnic minorities and socially vulnerable populations. Much of Dr. Kohler’s work uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to ensure community voices are reflected in research projects spanning community outreach, primary care, and oncology services.
