The Impact of Co-occurring Cancer-Related and Wound-Specific Symptoms on Functional Performance and Quality of Life among Adults with Advanced Cancer and Malignant Fungating Wounds: An Observational, Longitudinal, Mixed-Methods Study

A. Objectives
Primary Aim: Characterize co-occurring cancer-related and wound-specific symptoms in adults with advanced cancer and MFWs using multiple methods of deep phenotyping over a six-month period.

Secondary Aim 1: Examine the physiological, psychological, and situational factors associated with co-occurring cancer-related and wound-specific symptoms in adults with advanced cancer and MFWs over a six-month period.

Secondary Aim 2: Examine functional performance and quality of life among adults with advanced cancer and MFWs experiencing co-occurring cancer-related and wound-specific symptoms over a six-month period.
