Geoffrey J. Markowitz, PhD, is an RBHS Instructor in the Department of Medicine at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and within the Division of Medical Oncology, Section of Cancer Immunotherapy at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. Dr.
Immunotherapy has revolutionized the cancer treatment landscape. T cells are critical determinants of the anti-tumor immune response, and while their therapeutic modulation has been game-changing, a substantial portion of patients do not respond to treatment.
