Research Interests

• Self-driving laboratories: robotics, automated polymer chemistry, and AI/machine learning (active learning) for autonomous design of biomaterials and drug formulations
• Polymer nanomedicine and drug delivery: polymeric nano/microparticles, injectable hydrogels, and degradable polyplexes for sustained release and gene delivery
• Biologic formulation and stabilization: polymer-protein hybrids and novel excipients to stabilize enzymes and therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (incl. high-concentration formulations)
• Protein-mimetic nanomaterials: single-chain polymer nanoparticles and synthetic enzyme mimics
• Automated characterization and open-source AI tools: high-throughput SAXS/DLS analysis (SAXS Assistant) and AI-agent-driven cloud labs (Geppetto)
