I obtained my BA in English from Nagarjuna University in India, stumbled into oncology after coming to the U.S., was irresistibly inspired, and decided to become an oncology nurse. I worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings for a total of 16 years as a nurse, obtaining my BSN and MSN-Education from WGU. I joined Rutgers Cancer Institute in 2016 as a Nurse Clinician in infusion and then transferred to the Breast Oncology Program in 2019. I graduated from the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Program at Drexel University and joined the GU Medical Oncology group at Rutgers Cancer Institute in 2022. The most gratifying part of my job is daily interaction with patients and accompanying them along their stressful journey. I love to see things from a 'big picture' perspective and constantly attempt to link the various aspects of cancer care in my daily practice.
