About Me
I joined Rutgers Cancer Institute as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and as the System Medical Oncology Director for Hepatobiliary Cancer for RWJ Barnabas Health.
I graduated from Rutgers University and RWJ Medical School. I then completed internal medicine training at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and completed a medical oncology fellowship at NYU Medical Center.
As a GI medical oncologist at the Yale Cancer Center, I rose to Associate Professor of Medicine and Assistant Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Office. During that time, I served on the NCCN hepatobiliary panel and on the NCI hepatobiliary task force. I was excited to have the opportunity to return to Rutgers and bring innovative clinical trials to our patients.
I have expertise in treating patients with all GI cancers and have been a clinical investigator on numerous GI cancer clinical trials with a focus in hepatobiliary cancers. I am passionate about patient care, and I am dedicated to providing excellent clinical care and opportunities for patients to participate in clinical trials at CINJ and across the entire RWJ Barnabas Health network. I collaborate with colleagues across many specialties, including surgery, GI, radiation oncology, and interventional radiology as a multidisciplinary team to coordinate the best treatment plan for every patient.
It continues to be a privilege to take care of my patients. I strive every day to ensure that each patient receives compassionate care tailored to their needs.
