Translating Innovations in Cancer Screening into Substance Use Disorder Care Settings (Just in Time)

Our objective is to create and test a feasible and acceptable MCS
intervention and implementation workflow to integrate cervical and
colorectal screening into the SUD treatment clinic to expand screening
access to high-risk patients. The proposed project will generate high-impact deliverables:
1) a fully specified intervention package integrating two evidence-based
cancer screening approaches tailored for SUD treatment settings,
2) a refined protocol for a multi-site hybrid type 2 effectiveness-
implementation R01 ready for translation to additional alternative health
care settings (e.g., HIV clinics, harm reduction sites, breast imaging
centers).
