Advancing Cancer Care, Education, and Screening Support for Developmental Disabilities (ACCESS)

Objective 1.1: To conduct semi‑structured interviews of self‑advocates to elicit their knowledge of cancer screening procedures and their experiences with the cancer screening process.

Objective 2.1: To conduct individual interviews with self‑advocates regarding their perceptions of facilitators and barriers to cancer screening.

Objective 3.1: To conduct an interview with family members of adults with IDD/DD regarding their perceptions of facilitators and barriers to cancer screening.

Objective 3.2: To conduct semi‑structured interview with healthcare providers regarding barriers and facilitators to the cancer screening process for individuals with IDD/DD.
