About Me

I am a board certified hematologist oncologist who is committed to treating and improving the lives of all patients with breast cancer. I serve as the Director of the High Risk Breast Cancer Program at RWJ Barnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute, New Jersey’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. In this role, I care for patients with cancer related germline genetics and family history, translating complex risk information into personalized management plans. As Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, I mentor and educate the next generation of physicians and clinical investigators, and I help lead cancer clinical trials that bring cutting edge therapies our patients.

I earned my medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed my hematology oncology fellowship at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston University School of Medicine. I became certified in clinical cancer genetics through the City of Hope Clinical Cancer Genomics Community of Practice. As the former Director of Cancer Genetics Program at BMC, I helped lead clinical operations and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to streamline systems for best care practices.

I am proud to be a breast medical oncologist because it places me at the forefront of transformative scientific advancements while allowing me to guide patients through some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments. Supporting my patients and their families as they navigate complex medical decisions is a deeply meaningful privilege, and I will always take the time to understand each patient's circumstances and advocate for their care.
