The National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention (NCSCP) has designated the Friday before Memorial Day as “Don’t Fry Day” to raise awareness of skin cancer prevention and to encourage everyone to be sun safe during summer.
The 2021 theme is “Small Steps for Sun Safety”. As you head out this summer, don’t forget these important small steps to protect your skin:
- Wear sunscreen
- Wear sunglasses
- Stay in the shade
- Wear protective clothing
